What would you do if you walked up to your car tomorrow morning and found ‘fag’ scrawled across the windshield in red paint? If you’re 29-year-old grad student Erin Davies, you turn the experience into activism. Davies spent two months in her vandalized VW Beetle (dubbed ‘fagbug’), criss-crossing the country to educate people on hate crimes and, ultimately, collecting enough on camera to make a documentary.
